Personnel and Record Security
Security in any business is the key to keeping the honest, honest. How many
times do we see individuals who would normally not be involved in the pilfering
of records or merchandise do it.
Recently one of our clients was talking about the lack of caring in his organization by personnel.
Management paid little
attention to inventory control, cheated personnel out of commissions and was
seldom available if a problem arose. There were also quick to criticize comments
being made if something went wrong, but short on offering solutions.
This
situation could have been prevented if management tool safeguards to prevent
theft of inventory and records was in place.
This practice would have insured
company growth and responsible personnel.
For example it is possible with some
software to totally control product on hand quantities, purchasing of new
product, and products used in house and returns.
It is also possible with some
software to restrict access to client records through security levels.
It is
recommended that unless that your organization is a closely held family unit
that you initiate software and record security.
